Associate Marketing Manager APAC (m/f) for PubNative/AppLift

Beijing, China


The position is shared between PubNative and AppLift, two leading companies in adtech industry. PubNative is a global mobile publisher platform fully focused on native advertising for apps and mobile web. AppLift is a data-driven technology company that empowers mobile app advertisers to acquire and re-engage quality users at scale on a performance basis. Your responsibilities:

PubNative:

  • You maintain and grow PubNative brand presence in China and APAC region in coordination with global marketing team,
  • You implement offline marketing efforts (presence in industry conferences in APAC, local meet-ups, sales materials, conference give-aways, merchandising)
  • You are responsible for PubNative online presence and content distribution (maintaining existing social media accounts and constantly discovering new locally important social channels, localizing English content to suit APAC market, finding content partnerships to distribute thought leadership)
  • You coordinate external parties (freelance translators, PR agency, event contractors) and internal stakeholders (marketing team based in Berlin HQ, business development teams based in Beijing and Seoul)
  • You come up with innovative ways to build PubNative brand in APAC region

AppLift:

  • You organize AppLift online and offline seminars/exhibitions/meetups and develop presence as AppLift in China in coordination with Berlin/APAC marketing team
  • You take responsibility for PR and brand communication with local reporters
  • You create and translate/localize Chinese contents, which includes ebooks, blog posts about adtech industry, as well as employer branding material
  • You manage local/global social channels AppLift wechat, AppLift website and blog in Chinese
  • You support the APAC marketing team in Korea with new APAC-wide projects
  • You research adtech market in China and monitor competitors' activities, events, PR and social activities
  • You work on SEO/SEM on main Chinese search engines
  • You manage to print marketing materials as well as team support materials

 

Our requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant practical experience (event and community management, content marketing, online and offline marketing)
  • You are a quick learner and thus quickly dive into our business model
  • Native Chinese speaker, fluent in English
  • Top University/Business School or similar education, preferably with focus on marketing and communication
  • You have good communication and people skills, you are a team player and it’s fun working with you
  • You have entrepreneurial mindset, ‘can-do’ attitude and good problem solving skills, you can manage your tasks independently and bring in new ideas
  • Previous experience in working with international teams is a big plus
  • Previous practical work experience within a start-up and / or in the field of mobile advertising is a big plus
